Principal

 

Welcome to Deshler Middle School! I began my career in education in 2012 and started teaching at Deshler Middle School in 2016. Prior to becoming principal I served as a history teacher and coach at Wilson High School for four years and a PE teacher and coach at Deshler Middle School for five years.

 

While I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am married to my wife, Chelsea, and we have two girls, Ann Hollis and Mary Thomas. I love watching sports and supporting our students in all of their extracurricular activities. My girls and I love supporting the Deshler Tigers in all that they do. 

 

I believe that Tuscumbia City Schools is the best place on earth to receive an education. The hard work ethic and pride that the people of Tuscumbia have is what makes our system so special. I hope to continue this tradition by partnering with stakeholders and helping our students grow and achieve their goals. I am happy to help you in any way I can. Go Tigers!
